Gabrielle Palfi is a cellist who works in the Savannah Georgia area and in central Maryland as well. From a young age, Gabrielle found her love of cello and music through playing in chamber groups and youth orchestras. She later went on to pursue her Bachelors and Masters in cello performance at West Virginia University and University of Delaware under Dr. Erin Ellis and Dr. Larry Stomberg. During her time at these universities she played in numerous masterclasses including for Zlatomir Fung, Amit Peled and the Pacifica Quartet. 

After college she moved to Charleston, West Virginia as an Artist in Residence in music education with the West Virginia Symphony. Alongside subbing for the West Virginia Symphony and Huntington Symphony, she was building and maintaining her own private studio. In addition to teaching privately, she also served as a conductor and chamber coach for the West Virginia Youth Symphony. Gabrielle has experience in performing and doing studio work for a multitude of genres including rock, R&B and gospel. 

In her free time, Gabrielle loves spending time with friends and family. Two of her favorite things are going for walks or hikes with her husband and tending to her orchid collection!
